Mushroom Models Publications is now offering a coloring (or colouring) book featuring classic fighters. The book is a soft-cover book with 31 pages. Each fighter is covered in two pages. The first page has the usual data that aircraft fans will recognize. A chart showing the characteristics of the aircraft, performance numbers, and armament are provided in chart form. A description of the aircraft is also provided, usually covered in a couple of sentences.
The second page features a large illustration of the fighter, with black outlines showing national markings, fuselage code numbers, and aircraft features such as landing gear, canopy framing, navigation light covers, and a spinning prop.
The Classic Fighters featured are:
- Hawker Hurricane
- Bf-109 G ( no swastika)
- Fw-190A ( no swastika)
- Boulton Paul Defiant
- F4U Corsair
- P-39 Airacobra

I have a Grandson who now bee-lines to the “War Room” on each visit, and he has a special book with color profiles of some WWI fighters within. He loves to look at the illustrations and run his fingers over the pictures. Now he will have a book that offers him the opportunity to enjoy his interest in aircraft by coloring them!

This publication is highly recommended for the younger ones and adults who want to enjoy adding color to the outline drawings of these classic fighters. Thanks to Mushroom Models Publications for providing this book for review by IPMS/USA.
